Super Auto Pets || DF Made Me Buy It

Super Auto Pets is a free app that you can download on your mobile device. It’s a casual, strategy game based on the idea of “adopting” animals, training them up, and fighting other players. I was able to download on my Android phone from the Google Play Store.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Super Auto Pets, I just enjoyed playing the game.

Team screen for choosing new “Pets” and “Food/Upgrades”

Everything thing is pretty well randomized, from the animals you can choose from, to the food (upgrades) you can feed them, your team name, and your opponents. You can click the dice roll button in the bottom left to randomize your choices a few more times, but you are limited by the amount of “coins” (upper left) you have. You get a certain amount of coins to start with and through choosing pets and upgrades you can get more coins.

Random Team Name Selection Screen

Once you’ve made your selections it’s time to BATTLE. You can manually click through the turns or set to auto, which is what I like to do. Each animal on each side will take it’s turn until one or both sides are out of pets. Then you are returned to the team preparation screen.

Pets can be leveled up by applying the same pet to the pet on your team, thereby getting stronger and doing more damage. You also get an achievement for getting pets to level 3.

Game Over

The hearts on the upper left indicate your “life”, you lose hearts when losing a battle, and keep them if you win.

The trophies indicate how many times you’ve won, up to a total of 10, and the hourglass represents which round you are on.

The game continues until you are either out of hearts, or have won 10 trophies. It moves fairly quickly and is easy to pick up for a new player. You can also pause by returning to the main menu during team preparation.

And of course, no mobile is complete without paid options. You can customize your background (as seen below), customize your pets with hats (this is also possible with points obtained slowly through gameplay), and get access to “limited edition” pets.

Background Customization.

I bet by now you’re wondering how the heck did I find out about this game? I play some mobile games, but not many. I’m mostly addicted to The Sims 4 right now, so where did this come from?

If you’ve been to my blog before (you have haven’t you?) you might know that I have a YouTube Channel (like, comment, and subscribe!), and therefore watch a lot of YouTube videos. So… I follow this Canadian by the handle of DangerouslyFunny. I think I might have mentioned this before. But anyway, he’s been playing it, and does a better job of showing it off than I do.

Have you played this game? What casual mobile games do you like to play? Let’s have a discussion in the comments!
